Skaters may take USFS tests for numerous skills like skating skills, freestyle (singles or pairs), and dance. While passing tests may allow skaters to compete at higher levels, some skaters like tests as a way to benchmark skills and have a goal to work towards.

The club hosts test sessions multiple times a season. Skaters must register and pay associated fees for the test session.

Full and associate members of CFSC receive priority registration but are not guaranteed enrollment dependent on availability of qualified judges and ice time.

All others are first come, first served. Late registrations will be accepted if space allows and at the discretion of the test chair.
